I don’t need to say a lot about this year – we all know what it entailed. But for me, it was a pivotal year. Despite the job applications for pathology collection being sent off, they were still being rejected despite the need for pathology collectors to take nasopharyngeal and throat swabs. So I did what I do in hard times – I created. And this year, I went hard at it.

Lockdowns are now reducing – what next?
Towards the end of the year when things were starting to look up, I decided that I would once again change direction for career pathways – I took a plunge and applied for the diploma of graphic design offered by SAE Institute and was accepted! I began in trimester 1 of 2021. From this point onwards, this folio will no longer be focused on my evolution towards this point, but the progression from a visual artist to a graphic designer.
